Blimps Suffer 6-3 Setback
The Ithaca Fighting Imps topped the Akron Blimps, 6-3, with catcher Pedro Costa playing a big role. Costa went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Fighting Imps in the win. António Rodríguez got the save, the 4th for him this season. The Fighting Imps are off to a tough start, getting just their 7th win in 18 games.

Ithaca took a 6-3 lead on Costa's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Henry Terry in the top of the sixth, propelled Ithaca to the win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Costa told the Ithaca Herald.
