The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks powered past the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 10-5, at Mariachi Band Shell. Dermott Mann belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice, to lead the charge. With the win, Ft. Polk South elevates its record to 8-7.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Mann delivered big-time for Ft. Polk South, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Edwin Perry. The game-changing hit put the Thunder Hawks on top, 8-4.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Ft. Polk South manager John Anderson.
