Victory Pushes Sixshooters Record to 10-5
|
Northville third baseman Lex van Esch was sensational. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Westwood beat the Eclipse, 4-3. van Esch was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Eclipse fall to 6-9 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2042 season.
Westwood third baseman William Anderson helped the Sixshooters to the win. In the bottom of the fifth inning, the 25-year old third baseman stroked a run-scoring double. For the game, Anderson was 2 for 4 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times.
Anderson attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
