Sixshooters Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Northville
|
The Westwood Sixshooters topped the Northville Eclipse, 7-3, in USPL Double A action at Sixshooters Stadium. The player of the game was Westwood pitcher Jurg Roozen. Westwood, now 9-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.
Rick Kirkham tagged a home run off John Seawright in the bottom of the third. His 3-run blast put the Sixshooters on top, 3-0. In all, Kirkham had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I like our moxie," said Sixshooters manager Juan Gusmán.
