The Northville Eclipse picked up a win at Old-Timers Park, knocking off the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 3-1. On the mound for Northville was right-hander Edwin Meadows, who played a pivotal role in the win. Losses have been rare for the Thunder Hawks, who are now 5-2.

The Eclipse got a big at-bat from designated hitter Daron Mack. For the game, Mack was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Northville a 2-1 lead.

"We played hard and won," said Meadows. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
