Ithaca had no answer for Westwood Sixshooters hurler Rio Dring, who overwhelmed Fighting Imps hitters as the Sixshooters coasted to a 7-0 victory. The win gives Westwood a record of 4-3.

Dring dominated for Westwood, raising his record to 2-0. Ithaca hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 8.1 innings while striking out 8.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Dring told the Westwood Gazette.
