Yucca Valley Wins 5-0 to Continue Red Hot Start
|
Yucca Valley starter Dan Sanders pitched effectively against the Kennesaw Jets at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. The right-hander led his team to a 5-0 win. Danny Kas closed the game out for Yucca Valley, earning his 4th save. Yucca Valley, now 12-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.
Dave Reynolds was vital part of the Yucca Valley win. He was 2-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first with one out, Reynolds hit a run-scoring triple. It made the score 1-0, in favor of the Yellows.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Yucca Valley skipper Christian O'Dell.
