The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks beat the Olympia Ogres, 10-3, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The Thunder Hawks got a fine performance from designated hitter Cristo Lucas, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Masaki Ito picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 1-0. Wynn Kelley locked down his 1st save.

Ft. Polk South catcher Juho Hovinen contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a splitter into left field for a 2-run single. It was his 2nd hit of the season and put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 6-2.
