Thunder Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Ghosts
Thinley Tshering did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Casper Ghosts from losing, 7-5, to the St. Petersburg Thunder at Rapiers Ballpark. Tshering was 4-5 with 4 singles. The winner was Benny Berry in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Ernest Wheeler took the loss. St. Petersburg is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with St. Petersburg trailing 5-4, Fernando Urby hit a fastball from Ernest Wheeler for a 3-run home run, giving the Thunder the walk-off win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Urby.
