Trevithick hits 2 home runs, Shredders Move to 56-34
Getting a good performance from first baseman Richard Trevithick, the Hollywood Shredders defeated the New Orleans Voodoo, 8-4. Trevithick slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Shredders. Brantford Winstworth III picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-5. Santiago Rivera was tagged with the loss. Hollywood has a 4-game win streak, while New Orleans has lost 3 in a row.

Trevithick had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a full count fastball from Santiago Rivera, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Shredders a 5-4 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Trevithick.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Hollywood manager Bill Cheese.
