Lancaster rode a fine outing from starter Josuke Okumura to victory over the Virginia Beach Whales at Farmers Field. The final score was 8-1. With the win, the Farmers improved to 39-47.

Okumura, who dominated for Lancaster, earned the victory to move to 11-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 7. Virginia Beach batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
