The Biloxi Shuckers topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 2-1, in USSL Double A action at The Pizza Oven. The player of the game was Biloxi pitcher and Shanwei, China native Mang Zhong. Biloxi reliever Steve Davis picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Tony Ruvenacht absorbed the loss. The Shuckers bumped their record to 44-38 with this latest triumph.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the batter, Rickard Busald, hit a single. It helped Biloxi seize the win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Busald said.
