The Casper Ghosts topped the Virginia Beach Whales, 8-7, with catcher Alan Campbell playing a big role. Campbell was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Ghosts in the win. Diyaa Ababneh got credit for the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. Ernest Wheeler closed the game out for Casper, earning his 5th save.

Casper used the clutch hitting of Joe Havermeyer to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to give the Ghosts the lead, 8-6. For the game, Havermeyer had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Havermeyer.

The Ghosts improved to 43-36.
