Shuckers Win Again, Streak Now at 10
Biloxi starter Kevin Hamm pitched effectively against the Ottawa Nationals at The Pizza Oven. The right-hander led his team to a 6-5 win. In 6 innings, Hamm surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 0 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. Luis Valdés picked up the save for Biloxi, his 12th of the year.

Randy Moore was a prime contributor to the Biloxi win. He went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the eighth with one out, the 22-year old center fielder hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 6-0, in favor of the Shuckers.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Biloxi manager Chua-kah Liu.
