The exploits of third baseman Ralph Titus, who is tied for 10th in the SAA in home runs with 10, helped the Toledo Saboteurs defeat the Biloxi Shuckers, 8-2. Titus was 3 for 4 with 3 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Tony Ruvenacht picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-7. He struck out 6 in 8.2 innings. The Saboteurs now have a record of 37-30 with the win over Biloxi.

Manuel Ortíz aided the Toledo cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
