Ghosts Stymie Ottawa, Take 4-1 Win
|
Casper starter Mark Smith had a strong outing against the Ottawa Nationals at Nationals Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Ernest Wheeler finished to wrap up his 2nd save. Casper now has a 3-game win streak.
It could have been a different outcome for Casper, had it not been for Teok-kyu Pak, the slick-fielding second baseman . Pak contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Casper up, 2-1.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Pak.
