White Walkers Prevail, 7-5, Over Cleveland
|
It was a fun time at Beyond the Wall, where the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo White Walkers tangled.
Cleveland first baseman Zahid Kashani had a good game, even if his team did not. The Browns dropped a 7-5 decision to Buffalo at Beyond the Wall. Kashani was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Woodward Haberdash, credited with the save, is now 3 for 6 in save opportunities.
The White Walkers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With two out, Ryder Ringor, who is tied for 6th in the PL in doubles with 21, hit a 2-run home run off Yan van der Meijden, putting Buffalo in front, 3-0. For Ringor, it was his 19th home run of the season.
"It wasn't our best performance," said Ringor, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
The White Walkers bumped their record to 50-37 with this latest triumph.
