Biloxi and Tacoma duked it out at The Pizza Oven and the Shuckers came out victorious.

A 3-RBI performance from Habib Othman, who is rated as the 97th best prospect by BNN, helped the Biloxi Shuckers beat the Tacoma Fur Traders, 8-5. Luis Valdés converted his 7th save in 9 tries.

Had Randy Moore not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Moore hit a bases-clearing triple. That made the score 8-5, in favor of the Shuckers.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Moore said. "We did a good job of that today."

After today's action, Biloxi sits at 28-33, while Tacoma falls to 18-43.
