The Boston Patriots topped the Charleston Battery, 3-0, in United States Premier League action at Charleston Armory. The player of the game was Boston pitcher Aldo Ottens. Ottens got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Ottens allowed no earned runs. Earning his 1st save for Boston was Jorge Gil.

In the top of the second, Freddy Díaz hit a 2-run home run for Boston. The 1st home run of the season for the Boston catcher put the Patriots on top, 2-0.
