Farmers Roll to 8-3 Win Over Nationals

The Lancaster Farmers powered past the Ottawa Nationals, 8-3, at Farmers Field. Robert Shannon was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2, to lead the charge. Lancaster, now 24-30, holds 7th place in the Silver AA.
Eugene Walker helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run double. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Farmers.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Shannon. "And not try to do too much."
