Acosta Hits 2 home runs in Fur Traders Win
|
Manuel Acosta helped his team muscle past the Ottawa Nationals, 5-2. In the game, the Tacoma designated hitter went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Luis Medina picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 3-2. Even with the win, the Fur Traders have a dismal 16-35 record.
Tacoma grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Acosta hit a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Fur Traders out in front, 5-2.
