The Richland Rails did just enough to sneak past the Yakima Hops, 5-4, at Hops Park. Richland pitcher Bumper Pool earned player of the game honors. At 51-35, Richland is in second place in the Menard's AA.

The result might have been different for Richland, had it not been for Cheng-ho Bu, the 26-year old third baseman . Bu stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put Richland up, 5-1. For the game, he had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Bu told the Richland Daily News. "But we take nothing for granted."
