Blues Rally For Late Win Over Hops
Yakima left fielder Daniel MacBrayne had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-3, to Barton Springs at Blues Field. MacBrayne went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Barton Springs reliever Robinson Martínez got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Al Hensley was tagged with the loss. With the win over Yakima, the Blues improved to 43-41.

José González helped out the Barton Springs cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop went 2-3 with 2 singles.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," González said.
