Polar Bears Roll to 8-0 Win Over Pierogis
|
The Billings Polar Bears trumped the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 8-0, at The Igloo. Billings third baseman Jose Reginalde was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Dan Webster sewed up the save, his 1st. Billings goes to 38-41, Squirrel Hill to 30-49.
Reginalde had a key at-bat for Billings early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and gave Billings an early 3-0 lead.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Randy Stevens.
