Greg Ge got the glory and the headlines today, but the Irving Blue Sox left with the win. The Richland center fielder easily handled the Blue Sox pitching, going 5-for-6, but his Richland Rails came out on the short end of the 14-6 score.

Ge told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win.

"Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end."

Greg Ge singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
