Ocasio Helps Shredders Run Win Streak to 5
|
The Hollywood Shredders beat the Boston Patriots, 5-1, at Dunkin Donuts Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of right fielder Gilberto Ocasio, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Hollywood has now won 5 straight.
Hollywood took a 5-1 lead on Ocasio's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Aldo Ottens in the top of the eighth, propelled Hollywood to the win.
"It feels good to get this one," Ocasio told the Hollywood Bulletin.
