Streaking Blitzkrieg Win Another One
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg defeated the Hamilton Coyotes, 10-6, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge today. Leading the charge for Port Huron was left fielder Dave Watts. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The slumping Coyotes have lost 12 straight.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the top of the fifth inning. That's when first baseman Jeff Reed, who is tied for 7th in the SAAA in RBI with 68, drew a walk. The Blitzkrieg went on to win.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Hamilton manager Steven Hodnett.
