Minnesota Loons starter Asher Mouland turned in an exceptional performance against the Squirrel Hill Pierogis at Field of the Rawhides, resulting in a Minnesota win, 3-2. Mouland, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 earned runs. Earning his 4th save for Minnesota was Maxwell Security.

Minnesota used the timely hitting of José Garrastazu to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Loons on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
