Lung Chaim left his imprint on the 5-2 Greenville win against the Hollywood Shredders. Chaim, who is on pace to hit 23 home runs this season, was 3-5 with 2 home runs. Glenn Suggett got the win, improving to 5-2. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 0. Dave Lawson got the save, the 8th for him this season.
Greenville used a timely hit from António Macías to get the win. The third baseman delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the third inning to put the 84s on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Chaim told the Greenville Daily News. "But we take nothing for granted."
Greenville leads the Premier League by 3½ games.
