Dodgers Lose to Grey Wolves, 7-5
|
Tim Stinson had a good game, but he could not keep the Brooklyn Dodgers from falling, 7-5, to the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Ebbetts Field. The Brooklyn designated hitter went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 in the loss. Picking up the save was Ainanani Oliwa, his 7th. Vancouver is 24-42 and Brooklyn, with the loss, 29-37.
Rafael Maldonado, who is tied for 8th in the 3L in home runs with 15, helped out the Vancouver cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the first baseman was 1-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Maldonado told the Vancouver Daily.
