White Walkers Prevail, 5-3, Over Cleveland
|
Buffalo and Cleveland duked it out at Factory of Sadness and the White Walkers came out victorious.
Buffalo starter Dusty Fox pitched effectively against the Cleveland Browns at Factory of Sadness. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. In 7.2 innings, Fox surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. He allowed 3 runs.
Buffalo used the timely hitting of Max Bortenschlager to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Bortenschlager said after the game.
The White Walkers now have a record of 38-26 with the win over Cleveland.
