Rocketeers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Kingfishers
The Seattle Rocketeers defeated the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 6-5, at Boeing Dome today. Leading the charge for Seattle was left fielder Gah-fat Liu. He belted 2 home runs. Seattle reliever Wu-ti Xuan was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Edmond McCord took the loss. With the win, the Rocketeers have a record of 31-26.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Seattle third baseman Yakamochi Ota, facing Jeffery Meyers, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Rocketeers the 6-5 win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Liu said.
