Outlaws Fall to .500 After Loss to Kingfishers
The Pittsburgh Kingfishers dealt the Nashville Outlaws a 9-5 loss at Pittsburgh Grounds. Kjartan Einarsson was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner was Jeffery Meyers, who threw 99 pitches over 6.2 innings. The left-hander was charged with 5 runs on 9 hits. Edmond McCord closed the door for Pittsburgh, picking up his 1st save of the year.

With Pittsburgh leading 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Einarsson hit a fastball from Tim Nesheim for a 2-run double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Kingfishers ahead, 7-3.

"Enjoyed this one," Einarsson told the Pittsburgh Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
