The Scranton Supernovas picked up a win at Port Huron Park, knocking off the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 13-1. Starting pitcher Dave McAlear was an essential part of his team's success. Scranton has an impressive 57-23 record.

Scranton relied on the bat of Quentin Batkin to get the win. The second baseman ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Supernovas ahead, 12-1. For the game, Batkin had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Scranton manager Craig Stewart.
