Coyotes Continue Skid Thanks to Mehoff, Men
The exploits of right fielder Walke Mehoff, who leads the SAAA in home runs with 26, helped the Florida Men defeat the Hamilton Coyotes, 4-2. Mehoff belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Florida starter Kullervo Hostikka was credited with the win after throwing 91 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Roderick Miller earned the save, his 1st, for the Men.

In the top of the first, Mehoff pounced on a first pitch splitter from Jesús Castillo and hit a 2-run home run. It put Florida on top, 2-0.

"I believe in our guys," said Florida skipper Jerome Perry. "I like the energy they're playing with."

Hamilton's current losing streak has reached 12 games.
