The Port Huron Blitzkrieg got a stellar performance from pitcher Arlen Chesnutt, who handcuffed the Pawnee offense en route to a 4-2 win at Whips Ballpark. The Blitzkrieg, at 28-36, sit in 8th place in the Silver AAA.
It could have been a different outcome for Port Huron, had it not been for Jeff Reed, the former first round draft pick . Reed contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Port Huron up, 3-1.
"Arlen is still learning," said Blitzkrieg manager Ricardo Betancourt. "The sky's the limit for him."
