Drummers Lose, 4-2, at Port Huron Park

Fans who gathered at Port Huron Park saw a good contest between the Port Huron Blitzkrieg and Tortolita Drummers.
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg got a stellar performance from pitcher Sergio Gallegos, who handcuffed the Tortolita offense en route to a 4-2 win at Port Huron Park. In 6.2 innings, Gallegos surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
Ricardo Mireles had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Port Huron. With the bases loaded and the Blitzkrieg leading 1-0, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Gallegos said.
After today's action, Port Huron sits at 26-34, while Tortolita falls to 39-21.
