Blitzkrieg Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg relied on the hitting of designated hitter Mario Ramos to stop the Hamilton Coyotes, 10-9. For the game, Ramos went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Doug Lane picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Pei Fa was tagged with the loss. Hamilton, at 10-31, has lost 13 straight.

Marços Mansilha's hit in the top of the 11th was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Pei Fa for a 2-run single. It put Port Huron in front, 10-8.

"It was a test of wills," said Ricardo Betancourt, the Port Huron skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
