Dodos Get Close Win Over Blitzkrieg
The Hialeah Dodos topped the Port Huron Blitzkrieg by the score of 6-5, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Gabriel Montoya. Montoya went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Dodos. Mike Park picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. Roberto Muńóz was tagged with the loss. The third-place Dodos have won 10 straight.

Sergio San Martín was the walk-off hero for Hialeah. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodos shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring triple to send the teams home.
