The exploits of third baseman Roberts Hamhock, who is tied for 5th in the PAAA with a .976 OPS, helped the Alaskan Humpbacks defeat the Port Royal Disaster, 7-1. Hamhock went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The 8th-place Disaster have lost 4 consecutive games.

Alaskan used the bat of Marc Hayman to capture the win. The center fielder jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Humpbacks ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Hamhock told the Alaskan Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
