Dodos Topple Blitzkrieg with Late Rally

The Dodos had to overcome a good performance from Port Huron pitcher Steve O'Fennaghty to claim a 8-5 win at Port Huron Park. O'Fennaghty went 7 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Surrealiste Zhejna finished the game for Hialeah and earned his 3rd save. With the win, Hialeah goes to 5-5.
Hialeah needed the clutch hitting of Keith Pick to notch the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dodos on top, 8-5. For the game, Pick had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Pick.
