The Bakersfield Nobles bested the Sacramento Redlegs, 5-3, at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Glyn Bolasky was named player of the game. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Nobles have won 5 consecutive games.

It could have been a different outcome for Bakersfield, had it not been for Sadiya Seth, the 25-year old right fielder . Seth contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Bakersfield up, 5-3.
