The Tortolita Drummers took Pawnee pitcher Eric Colquhoun's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Whips Ballpark. The final score had Tortolita getting past the ParksNRec, 4-3. Colquhoun went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 12. Lester Broughton, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. With the win, Tortolita goes to 7-0.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Fernando Rincón came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Pawnee pitcher Jessie James, he hit a 0-1 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Tortolita on top, 4-3.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Rincón.
