Port Huron right fielder Jeff Reed was a significant contributor in his team's 9-8 triumph over the Scranton Supernovas. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Port Huron. With the win, Port Huron elevates its record to 2-5.

Reed had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Suezo Amano, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Blitzkrieg a 9-8 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Reed.

Reed told a Port Huron Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
