Rocks Get Close Win Over Humpbacks
Starting pitcher Sidney Petty pitched well enough to help the Plymouth Rocks beat the Alaskan Humpbacks by the score of 8-3. Plymouth reliever T.J. Juckson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Yushua Wazir shouldered the loss. Plymouth's record now stands at 42-46, placing them 7th in the Premier AAA.

Plymouth used the bat of Josip Primorac to get the win. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rocks ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Sidney is still learning," said Rocks manager José Reyes. "The sky's the limit for him."
