Mehoff Leads Men to Win over Redbirds
Men right fielder Walke Mehoff put his stamp on his team's 13-5 win over the Memphis Redbirds. Mehoff went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Florida in the contest. Florida reliever Marty McFly got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Samuel Tuffley was tagged with the loss. With the win, Florida elevates its record to 2-3.

Florida used the timely hitting of Marcos Janero to capture the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Men on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Walke is still learning," said Men manager Jerome Perry. "The sky's the limit for him."
