Morgan Lifts Longnecks to 15-6 Win
Bloomington third baseman Craig Morgan played a vital role in his team's 15-6 triumph over Plymouth. He went 3 for 5 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for Bloomington. Hunter Summers got the win, improving to 2-2. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 6. Li-chi Lou locked down his 1st save.

Bloomington used the timely hitting of Leonid Machehin to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Longnecks on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Machehin told the Bloomington Observer. "It's as simple as that."

With the win, Bloomington has a record of 43-40. Plymouth falls to 40-43.
