The Port Royal Disaster got a superb performance from second baseman Anson Darrah, but the Bakersfield Nobles still won the game, 8-6. Darrah was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Turner Shamburger notched his 3rd save in 4 chances. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Nobles.

Bakersfield used the bat of Jesús Vargas to capture the win. The pinch hitter jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Nobles ahead, 8-6. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a dandy.
