Disaster Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras

The Port Royal Disaster got a good effort from starter Dean Cross in defeating the Forest City Warriors at League Park. The final score was 3-2. Felipe Deleón picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Vicente López was tagged with the loss. Port Royal is in 8th place in the Premier AAA with a record of 30-42.
Port Royal used the timely hitting of Gerold Kent to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Disaster on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Forest City manager Ramón Pantoja.
