In a close game at Dunkin Donuts Park, the Boston Patriots edged the Portland Evergreens, 3-2. Boston designated hitter Jae-woo Ohm earned the nod as player of the game. He went 3 for 6 with a double and 2 singles. Kelemeneke Balun picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Mark Robinson was tagged with the loss. Boston, at 27-22, occupies 4th place in the Premier League.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With one out, Ohm hit a fastball from Mark Robinson for a run-scoring single. The Patriots, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Ohm said.
